core planning started with a pretty simple idea that work should feel more human.

We never set out to build a large firm. To be honest we were just trying to build the kind of place that’d be fun to work. We wanted to do good work for people we cared about, have room to think, be with family, and be able to give advice without feeling like there was always some other corporate agenda in the room.

It became very clear there were a lot of other advisors who wanted the same thing.

Great advisors do better work when they aren’t constantly being pushed toward more production, more clients, more growth, or more of everything. When advisors have more space, they can be more thoughtful. They can make decisions based on what is right for the person sitting across from them.

Core has become much more than anything we originally imagined.
